Corsican gastronomy reinvented

An unexpected gem in the south of Corsica, L’A Cheda will seduce you with an inventive and subtle menu
by our chef, Lionel.

Corsican products are selected in accordance with the Nustrale charter, which favours local organic and/or certified suppliers plus vegetables, fruit, flowers, and aromatic plants from our permaculture garden.

All accompanied by a lyrical flight of wine directed by our sommelier, and selected from our collection of the finest French vintage wines; and the most famous and prestigious wines of Corsica.

L’A Cheda also offers the jazzy brunch, the bistro grill, the pool bar, the lounge area, the cooking experience in the kitchen with the chef and our musical evenings.

Open every day for lunch and dinner from June to September ;
Open (except Sundays) for dinner only from February to May & October to November.

Our sommelier will offer you a fine selection of Corsican wines as well as wines from the greatest wine regions of France, Pauillac, Saint Estèphe, Margaux, Côte de Nuits, Côtes de Beaune…
For champagnes, choose from top brands as an aperitif or to accompany your dinner Ayala, Bollinger, Ruinart, Krug…

After dinner, taste some locally produced liqueurs, of myrtle, chestnut -or our Corsican Eau de vie…well known to lovers of the island.

THE CHARTER NUSTRALE

The “Local Produce” charter is a network of actors who are involved in a process of promoting and developing the production and consumption of products grown and processed in Bonifacio.

Their approach is intended to be eco-responsible and collaborative.
Supported by the ADEME this is an initiative of the commune of Bonifacio and its Municipal Tourist Office, bringing together signatory members of restaurateurs, hoteliers, producers, craftsmen, grocers, and fishermen .

Our permaculture kitchen garden

Our permaculture vegetable garden has been free of harmful fertilizers and pesticides for many years. Nathalie, our gardener/florist takes great care of the aromatic plants and flowers used in the kitchen and for decoration.

Head gardener Bruno preserves a naturally balanced environment using indigenous plants and flowers to attract pollinating insects or repel parasites. Watering is done at night with drip irrigation using water from our own well.

The Jazzy Brunch

A jazzy brunch with music. Brunch available from 11am to 3pm, every 1st Sunday in the month from June to September.
With small dishes from Asia, Italy, the southern Mediterranean and of course, Corsica …

Lunch by the pool

The Bistro Grill offers a convivial break by the pool for a lunch based on grilled meats, bowls, vegetable dishes, and a wide range of Corsican cheeses – plus the chef’s desserts.

An aperitif in the Lounge

A convivial or romantic aperitif with tapas prepared by the chef or a Nustrale platter of Corsican charcuterie and cheeses, a selection of cocktails, vintage wines, or excellent Corsican wines from our cellar.

In season, at dusk the lounge area is one of the trendiest places in town…

Enjoy this unique culinary experience with Lionel backstage behind our restaurant: select and gather the flowers, herbs & vegetables in the kitchen garden with him…
And after this privileged sharing of little secrets, you will enjoy your tasting even more.

Music and tapas for a traditionnal evening

During the summer season, enjoy an aperitif with tapas accompanied by Corsican singers. A varied programme for a musical moment under the stars, in the warmth of a summer’s eve. Do not hesitate to contact the reception for more information.
